Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso
It comes from an autochthonous vine of the Friuli region which has settled in the stony soils giving the palate all its structure with its typical hints of red fruits.
Intense ruby red with clear shades of violet.
The intense aroma reminds of fruits from the bush, in particular, wild raspberries and blackberries.
Typically tannic, well structured, with a dry and persistent aftertaste.
The perfect accompaniment for game dishes, cured meats, and roasts.
Pure Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso
The vineyards are located in the heart of the Grave area, on a flat, gravel ground.
Harvest and vinification
Mechanical harvest at the end of September. De-stemming and crushing of the grapes with maceration of the skins in contact with the must for 7-8 days at a controlled temperature of 22-25° C. The malolactic fermentation is completed in stainless steel containers and further refining takes place in glass bottles before marketing.
Serve at 16-18° C in wide goblets for red wines.
