It’s that time of year again: the 2026 grape harvest begins in Ramuscello

This year, things started a few days earlier than usual: shortly before mid-August, the first Pinot Grigio grapes arrived at the winery, officially launching the 2026 harvest.

Deliveries are now in full swing, with a steady stream of activity in the loading areas, filled with the colors, aromas, and passion of our partner winegrowers. Most field operations rely on the efficiency of mechanical harvesters: harvesting technology allows us to work with great speed and precision, gently detaching the grapes at the perfect moment of ripeness to bring them to the winery while they are still fresh, intact, and protected from the risks of oxidation. Alongside innovation, however, the oldest traditions also live on: several members continue to choose the beauty of manual harvesting using shears among the rows, filling crates cluster by cluster, and performing skilled gestures that have been repeated over time.

Behind the scenes of these days lies a collaborative and meticulous effort. In the winery, science meets experience: the must is extracted from the crushed grapes, and our oenologist closely monitors every single parameter, guiding the fermentation to best preserve the full aromatic profile of the new season.

For us, harvest time remains the most important moment of the year: a ritual that brings together our members’ work in the vineyards, our winemaking expertise, and our enthusiasm for the start of a new production cycle.
