August grape harvest
Just after mid-August, the first Pinot Grigio grapes arrived at the winery, marking the beginning of the 2025 Harvest.
Harvesting takes place almost entirely with mechanical grape harvesters, which gently pull the berries off the clusters, keeping them intact. Operations begin at dawn, when cooler temperatures help preserve the quality of the grapes and reduce the risks of oxidation.
Once delivered to the winery, the grapes are immediately processed with care. From the crushed grapes we obtain the must, which is immediately sent to fermentation, the first step toward the wines of the new year.
The harvest is a fundamental moment for us because it embraces both the work done in the vineyard by our Members and the expectations for the beginning of a new production cycle.
