Ramuscello Winery at “Castelli Aperti”: a fusion of viticulture and historical preservation

29/03/2026

During the spring edition of Castelli Aperti (Open Castles), held on Sunday, March 29, Cantina Ramuscello participated in the event in the village of Cordovado. The winery’s presence, with a dedicated exhibition space within the park, provided an important opportunity to engage with the public and promote the region’s finest wines, with a particular focus on the renowned Vino Terre 2025.

Promoting the region: the figure of Gherardo Freschi

At 4:00 p.m. the afternoon program featured an important moment of cultural exploration with the presentation of a book dedicated to the illustrious agronomist Gherardo Freschi. The work, created through a close collaboration between Cantina Ramuscello and authors Stefano Cosma and Cristina Burcheri, reconstructs the historical link between Freschi and the rural evolution of our region.

The opening remarks were delivered by board member Laura Bertolin, who emphasized how the preservation of historical memory and cultural outreach are fundamental pillars of the winery’s identity and of the growth of the entire community.

Conviviality and social commitment

After the presentation, the winery hosted a gathering in the park, offering participants refreshments to encourage dialogue between the authors and the audience in an informal setting.

The initiative also had an important social dimension: proceeds from the sale of the books will be donated to the Community of Sant’Egidio to support the charitable projects promoted by the organization.

Cantina Ramuscello would like to thank all the visitors who contributed to the success of a day that successfully combined regional promotion, historical exploration, and solidarity.
