Green islands among the vineyards

In the plains of the Destra Tagliamento (right side of the Tagliamento river), between vineyards and cultivated fields, there are small areas of trees with native species, in particular acacias. These areas contribute to the conservation of local fauna and environmental diversification of the agricultural landscape, providing shelter for numerous insects. During flowering, acacias attract pollinators, including bees, which also carry out an important role in agricultural activity.
